The Eltiqa GroupSohail SalemSohail Salem was born in Gaza in 1974 and graduated with a BA in Art Education from Al Aqsa University (1999). He has had solo exhibitions at the Khalil Sakakini Centre in Ramallah and the Peace Centre, Bethlehem as well as group exhibitions in Switzerland, Jordan and Australia. He was a finalist in the 2004 Young Artist of the Year Award. Saada RadiSaada Radi was born in Al Rimal, Gaza, in 1974. She has exhibited in group shows in Palestine, the Arab world and Europe. She works as a graphic designer and is Head of the Documentation Unit for the Ministry of Information in Gaza. Rima El MozayyenRima El Mozayyen was born in Damascus in 1977. She studied Fine Art and Art Education at Al Aqsa University, Gaza (1997-2002) before graduating from Helwan University in Egypt in 2006 with a MA in Art Education. She has taught design and ceramics at Al Aqsa University and managed the Children's Culture Dept. for the Ministry of Culture. Dina MataDina Matar was born in 1985 and studied for a BA in Art Education at Al Aqsa University (2007). Her work has been shown in exhibitions in Gaza, France and Switzerland, and she has participated in various workshops in Gaza with visiting artists. Raed IssaRaed Issa was born in Al Bureij refugee camp, Gaza, in 1974. Having studyied Computer Science at the Islamic University, he began taking courses in painting and drawing. He won a Distinction Award in the 2002 Young Artists Award, was invited to the 2003 Braziers International Artists Workshop in the UK and has exhibited in many exhibitions in Palestine and internationally. Ayman EisaAyman Eisa was born in Gaza in 1974 and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from An Najah University, Nablus, in 1999. He has exhibited in group exhibitions in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the 1999 Biennial for Young Artists in Rome. His first solo exhibition was at the Qattan Foundation, Ramallah, in 2005. Maha el DayaMaha el Daya was born in 1976 and studied for a BA in Political Science at Al Azhar University, Gaza. Exhibitions include 'Cactus', French Cultural Centre, Gaza; 'Colors of Hope', UNDP, Jerusalem (2006); 'Cycle: Six Palestinian Women Artists', Birzeit University Gallery (2007); 'Hommage aux Femmes Artistes', French Cultural Centre, Gaza (2008). Raouf AjouriRaouf Ajouri was born in Jabaliya refugee camp in 1977 and studied animation in Egypt for one year and for a BA in Art Education at Al Aqsa University in Gaza (2006). He has exhibited in Palestine and Europe with a solo exhibition at the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre in Ramallah in 2003. Musab Abu SallMusab Abu Sall was born in Saudi Arabia in 1988. He is currently studying Fine Art at Al Aqsa University in Gaza. Mohammed Abu SallMohammed Abu Sall was born in Gaza in 1976, and studied accounting at the Islamic University. He has shown work in the US touring exhibition 'Made in Palestine' (2003-06), the 2001 Sharjah Biennale and in solo and group exhibitions in Palestine, Europe, Lebanon, Jordan and Australia. He was a finalist in the A.M. Qattan Foundation's Young Artist of the Year Award in 2004. |
