Rolex Tower is situated on the Shaikh Zayed Road and is a mixted function building. Rolex Tower was designed by the Chicago firm of Skidmore Owings and Merrill LLP(SOM) , designers of Burj Dubai and London's Canary Wharf. It will be built by Ahmad Seddiqi and So ns, a real estate developer and the exclusive retailer of Rolex's premium watches in the region.

The tower is designed by Skidmore Owings and Merrill LLP (SOM). The building resembles the bundled tube form of the Sears Tower, but is not a tube structure. Emaar has also engaged GHD, an international multidisciplinary consulting firm, to assist with the design, review and assessment involved in the construction process.
