The Gateway Towers are in Khalidiya across from the Emirates Palace Hotel. This mixed use development of 2 connected 60 storey towers is predominantly residential with office and parking in the podium. The top of the towers culminate in a spiralling crescendo of duplex penthouses that relate to the curling triangular sails of the traditional gulf dhao sailing ships. The circular towers allow for spectacular views across the open sea and are clad in floor to floor glass framed with in a structural exoskeleton steel mesh.
