Jumeirah Gardens Master Plan

Meraas Development has commissioned Chicago architect Adrian Smith from Gordan Gill Architecture to design four new projects as part of the Jumeirah Garden master plan. The projects - 1 Dubai, 1 Park Avenue, and Park Gate and Meraas tower- are part of the Jumeirah Garden master plan which is under construction and expected to be completed over the next 12 years. Dubai aspires to be one of the most architecturally spectacular cities in the world and the three developments keep to this claim.

Architects and planners insure the priorities of sustainability factors, and the requirements of the well-being of living in the city, as they have to devise bold designs contribute to enhance the image of Dubai globally and provide a work environment, and housing for all community groups, Jumeirah will include some of the largest towers in the city, contribute in the establishment of green building design standards through the adoption of characteristics such as: power generation, and canopies shaded squares, covered with vegetation, In addition to the outer packaging, which helps reduce the temperature, in addition to reducing the use of power, ventilation and air conditioning and other.
Dubai, which at 2,000 ft high will be one of the tallest and largest towers in the world, is the centerpiece of the development. Park Avenue is a 116 storey tower-600.000m²- with three podium buildings at its base. The tower’s undulating sculptural form celebrates Dubai’s historic relationship to water and the city’s pearl trading heritage. The tower will incorporate 4 million-sq-ft of mixed-use space including houses, premium offices, condominiums and service apartments, along with the world’s highest luxury hotel.

The third project in the development is Park Gate. It will cover 4.7 million sq ft in six mid-rise towers linked together - 30-40 storey- by soaring vaulted canopies that would have cooling effects on Dubai hot atmosphere.
