Madinaty is a City of International Standards in Egypt ,the master plan was the result of a collaborative effort between three top US design firms: HHCP, SWA, and Sasaki, which product a modern city whose design focuses on providing all present and future requirements of its inhabitants and visitors. It is a city built on 8 thousand Feddans, designed to provide a modern life for 600,000 inhabitants in 120,000 housing units, acting as a modern extension to New Cairo.

Madinaty is a natural extension of New Cairo. It is situated in Cairo 33 kilometers on the Cairo-Suez highway. Its boundaries extend from 2kms before the entrance to Al Shorouk City for 10kms with a depth of 4.5kms. The city is a 10 minute drive from Heliopolis and 20 minutes from downtown Cairo. It is also located near the second ring road (currently under construction).

Madinaty has a length of 10km, depth of 4.5km, and is 270 square meters above sea level which gives it a moderate climate all year round.
The concept that underlies the design of Madinaty, which covers 33.6 million m2, is providing an exceptional style of living in a modern city with all its varied needs. A 27.3 million m2 area of the project is devoted to residential areas, with each stage being provided with a set of fully integrated household services. In addition to the above, there is also an area of 6.3 million m2 devoted and dedicated to services for the city's inhabitants as well as for Cairo residents.

The execution of the project ensures the provision of services for each phase of the project simultaneously upon the completion of each phase. Each stage is connected by a network of roads to the highways outside Madinaty in addition to two ring roads which Link its different phases allowing residents free access to services in other sections of the city, and providing them with a wider choice of services.

Parking is readily available in residential and service areas. Capacity has been planned in accordance with expected population density levels. Care was also taken to plan for pedestrian-only areas to guarantee our client's comfort and enjoyment.
Madinaty includes vast areas of greenery, all interconnected, in order to ensure adequate oxygen levels.
Madinaty will include not only villas and apartment buildings, but also vast green areas, golf courses, hospitals, business centers, hotels, educational institutions, sports & social clubs, household services, and entertainment facilities which meet the day-to-day needs of its inhabitants. The city will also have innovative and unique services on its fringes which will cater to the needs of nearby towns and even to the needs of the inhabitants of Greater Cairo. These services will include: water sports areas, shopping centers, and varied educational institutions. In addition to sports and social clubs which are built in accordance to international standards. The clubs contain different sports fields, swimming pools, restaurants, courts, and buildings specially designed to cater for social events.

The commercial areas contain shopping centers designed according to international standards. All local & international merchandise is readily available in addition to varied entertainment facilities, making shopping a true joy.

Residential areas in Madinaty are divided into areas for villas and others for apartment buildings. The areas are separated by gardens which all housing units overlook. Wide promenades for pedestrians lead to the service areas, limiting pollution and guaranteeing the safety and comfort of pedestrians and children.
