TVSdesign was presented with the “Concept Tower of the Year” award for its Dubai Towers Dubai in the Lagoons development at the annual Construction Week Awards. Now in its fourth year, the event has established itself as the biggest night in the regional construction calendar. "tvsdesign is honored to be the recipients of this award," says Jit Gupte, Associate Principal, tvsdesign. "The Dubai Towers Dubai is a challenging, yet truly satisfying project because of the innovation and groundbreaking techniques applied on a daily basis." Judges felt the Dubai Towers Dubai winning concept design had a very comprehensive entry and incorporates a highly innovative, organic and unique form. This true, original design incorporates complex engineering solutions as well as first class architectural design. Organized by ITP Business Publishing, the lavish awards ceremony took place at the Westin Dubai, and gathered more than 400 senior executives and personalities from the regional construction industry and high profile special guests. The Awards set out to raise the profile of the industry and celebrate innovation and excellence in what is the most dynamic construction industry in the world. Sixteen awards were presented at the ceremony in categories that covered a number of fields, from research and development innovation to health and safety, and from contractor of the year to developer of the year.The winners were judged by a prestigious panel of industry experts comprising top bosses from contracting companies, property developers, and architectural and consulting firms based within the GCC, US and the UK.
