Yazan Khalili

Yazan Khalili was born in Syria in 1981. From 1998-2003, he studied architecture at Birzeit University, taking Rula Halawani's photography course there in 2001. His photography combines his knowledge and interest in architecture, design and theoretical studies.

Raed Ibrahim

Raed Ibrahim is a young artist from Jordan. After studying in Beirut at the Tarraki Institute, he received a Diploma in Drawing and Painting from the Fine Art Institute at the Lebanese University (1994). He participated in Summer Academy Workshops at Darat al Funun in Amman, Jordan, with the artist Marwan Kassab (2000-02).

Jawad Ibrahim

Jawad Ibrahim was born in Palestine in 1953. He received his BA in Psychology from Jordan University in 1977. Besides participating in group exhibitions in Palestine and around the world, he has had 12 solo exhibitions. He has participated in conferences and seminars in the US and Morocco, and has supervised many art workshops in Palestine and abroad.

Bashar Hroub

Bashar Hroub graduated from An Najah University, Nablus, in 2001 with a BA in painting. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Palestine, the Arab world, Japan, Norway and Scotland, including a solo exhibition at the Al Hallaj Gallery in Ramallah and the Bethlehem Peace Centre in 2005.

Khaled Hourani

Khaled Hourani was born in Hebron in 1965 and studied history at Hebron University. An artist and writer, he was artist-in-residence in Geneva (1996), Spike Island, Bristol (2004), and a participant in the 2004 Braziers International Artists Workshop in the UK. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Palestine, the Arab world, Europe, Japan and the US.

Mona Hatoum

Mona Hatoum was born to Palestinian parents in Beirut in 1952. On a visit to London in 1975, she was prevented from returning to Lebanon by the outbreak of civil war. She graduated from Byam Shaw School of Art (1979) and the Slade School of Fine Art (1981) in London.

Shuruq Harb

Shuruq Harb was born 1980 in Ramallah. After a BA in Philosophy at Earlham College, Indiana in the US, she studied photography at Focal Point – The Visual Arts Training Center in Vancouver. In 2006, she received her MA in Photography from the University of Westminster, London.
